Online Writing: A Continuous Source of Income

I started from a scratch in writing…… writing different things I don’t know if people will care about. English is not my mother tongue and not my first language. I’ll consider myself a native blogger/writer only with shallow English but I’ll assure you, you’ll understand it.
I was first a blogger in blogspot, a member in adsense but due to an offence as they claimed, they disable my account for unknown reason. I lose my earnings on their profit sharing program.
Anyways, it’s not the money that really counts. Knowing there are people reading your articles matters with us. Yes, at first very disappointing but this won’t stop me from blogging! My life should go on as a blogger.
I didn’t know and expected that blogging will be a stepping stone for me; opening various doors for opportunities. I get a chance to be in a virtual office as an online employee working at home, at my own time, at my own comfort zone. It’s by chance only when I saw Triond in the snapshot of my employer where she, I guess, monitoring the status of her articles and the earnings. Curious, I visited the site, made an account, submitted an article and presto! Look where I am today, still on blogging.
Every living thing for me is subject, every image, every quote, every movie….. almost everything I must say.
I got my first accumulated earnings for months or I think, a year as their blogger in the amount of $ 0.91 – December 2011. I said to myself, cool…. Triond is not a scammer. I got a chance too to work in Expert Column where I get $ 5.00 earnings for the same articles I have submitted in Triond. Sad that now, this Expert Column is not giving us anymore what is due for their bloggers though our articles is still visible on their site.
Back to Triond, I get my second earning on April 2012. See? Three months after, I was able to reach the minimum pay-out of $ 0.50, followed on February 2013, then, June 2013 and July 2013 which getting higher and higher. Now, I see the sun shines for me reaping fruits on my labor in the months ahead and surely, will continue flowing years from now. Writing is a great profession, a continuous source of income. So, if you’re looking for a sideline and writing is one of your passions too, why not try it.

What You Call This? SEO?

I’m not in the mood yet in working on my online contracts for I’m so disturbed, worried, ill, tired, so on and so forth. All silly excuses I must say. (Hey, thanks for calling me Miss Silly).
It’s 2:36 pm here and I’m still on my bed watching a sucking movie; from time to time, checking all my accounts from: facebook, twitter, chitika, triond and off course my own webpage in blogspot.
In one of my articles here titled “Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter: http://thisismidnightmyth.blogspot.com/2013/06/facebook-pinterest-or-twitter.html

I have mentioned there what sites brings more traffic.
Is it facebook, pinterest or twitter?
I said, I didn’t get any views from twitter even a single one.
Today, I realized that perhaps, it depends on the site you are promoting. If the site is renowned, you’ll get views. For that, my apology on twitter.
Here in blogspot, you’re my number one sources of traffic, followed by google on the second slot, filmhill, blogsrating, facebook, pinterest and picsity. These does not include any bookmarking sites for I don’t find time to bookmark blogspot; but the previous work I’ve done in dormant Expert Column which still making money for our articles without giving any for their profit sharing program to date.
The site I will mention are the sites that really give traffic for me: jeqq, newsmeback, folkd, citeulike, and dotnetshoutout.
My number one source here is newsmeback.
Name it, I almost have it!
How about those famous bookmarking sites you can see in almost every websites?
My lips are sealed for I might get wrong again. I rather not comment for we will never know which sites really works and give traffic unless we try to use their services in ourselves. It’s free anyway. We have the right to choose.
Feel free to share your experience. Let’s help one another especially the newbies.
Stay tuned. There’s more I’ll share.

Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter

Which is more traffic in terms of viewership, audience and/or promotion? I’ll consider myself a geek (lol) when it comes to getting traffic in social media but I don’t apply it in my own web pages because I have no much time to do so. One time, I decided to hang out in expert column public chatroom to interact with my fellow writers. We came up in the topic where we can earn more from our articles. Most promote their articles to increase their views. The more views we get, the more earnings we will obtain. I’m lucky enough that even I don’t promote my articles, I got audience and I’m glad I got my first payment. I’m not after the payment but still I’m thanking the site for giving us breaks in blogging for free. I’ll take this opportunity to thank all for paying attention on my write-ups. To know that there are people reading my articles, the more they motivate me to write. I’m not a professional writer, only that, my passion is writing and when I have free time, I write some of my experience being in social media. I know how to bookmark, I know how to join in forums, and I know more about youtube, facebook, twitter, pinterest, just to name the few much rated social media sites which are good to send traffic to any website if they know well how to utilize them. Giving a shot, I decided to promote my articles on facebook, twitter and on pinterest. You know what I discovered? Of all the aforementioned sites, I got a very positive traffic on pinterest, followed by facebook and a negative traffic from twitter. Yes, I didn’t get any views from twitter considering I used four accounts in tweeting. The said accounts I used have enough followers to get audience. Why I said I got a very positive traffic from pinterest? Mind you, I have only one account in pinterest, however, I got more audience from the said site. I used two accounts in facebook to promote my articles. I got few views that are not bad at all. I wrote this article not to annihilate the image of the aforesaid sites but to give review. Now, its up to the readers to choose what they prefer to make use of.

Stomach Upset

I feel so weak today because I underwent in sigmoidoscopy; a medical examination of the large intestine to know the cause of stomach upset. The procedure lasted for about 20 minutes or more. I’ve been suffering from abdominal pain long time ago and it’s only yesterday I have the guts to see my internal practitioner though I have my check-ups a couple of months or two for I can’t tolerate more the pain and the bulging tummy that my family noticed. If not for them, I will not go to a doctor. Yes, I’m afraid in doctors because you will pay them costly only to cut your skin and to hurt you. Just kidding…… they save lives, second best to our creator. I’m not expecting the procedure is too painful. Just imagine the physician inserting a lit tube in your rectum send chills to my spine causing my pulse to disappear for seconds during the procedure. That’s how nervous and afraid I am to have a medical check-up. As much as possible, I don’t wish to be in hospital. I felt so bloated when the procedure was finished cause by the air blows in my internal organs to help the physician see better the inside of my intestine. At first it’s just alright but when it comes to the curves, wow!, the heck, too painful!!! Terrible pains that you won’t dare taking care of your body the next time you have the chance to care your health properly. I thought these doctor tribulation already ends after the procedure. I was wrong….. It’s just the beginning. You will felt the “aftershock” after, when he/she gave you the prescriptions tablets you’ll take. For my case, I didn’t know the severity and I didn’t wish to know. What I know only are the pains, the body aches, the complications this laxative I took before the procedure take place which I still endure today, the dehydration effects which somewhat make me feverish, more worst I can’t take an ordinary medication at home without doctor’s advise but I can take paracetamols for the relief. Even I’m not feeling well today, I managed to blog these experience. I’m crossing my finger cross not to happen it again in the future. Take care your health everyone!
