Stomach Upset

I feel so weak today because I underwent in sigmoidoscopy; a medical examination of the large intestine to know the cause of stomach upset. The procedure lasted for about 20 minutes or more. I’ve been suffering from abdominal pain long time ago and it’s only yesterday I have the guts to see my internal practitioner though I have my check-ups a couple of months or two for I can’t tolerate more the pain and the bulging tummy that my family noticed. If not for them, I will not go to a doctor. Yes, I’m afraid in doctors because you will pay them costly only to cut your skin and to hurt you. Just kidding…… they save lives, second best to our creator. I’m not expecting the procedure is too painful. Just imagine the physician inserting a lit tube in your rectum send chills to my spine causing my pulse to disappear for seconds during the procedure. That’s how nervous and afraid I am to have a medical check-up. As much as possible, I don’t wish to be in hospital. I felt so bloated when the procedure was finished cause by the air blows in my internal organs to help the physician see better the inside of my intestine. At first it’s just alright but when it comes to the curves, wow!, the heck, too painful!!! Terrible pains that you won’t dare taking care of your body the next time you have the chance to care your health properly. I thought these doctor tribulation already ends after the procedure. I was wrong….. It’s just the beginning. You will felt the “aftershock” after, when he/she gave you the prescriptions tablets you’ll take. For my case, I didn’t know the severity and I didn’t wish to know. What I know only are the pains, the body aches, the complications this laxative I took before the procedure take place which I still endure today, the dehydration effects which somewhat make me feverish, more worst I can’t take an ordinary medication at home without doctor’s advise but I can take paracetamols for the relief. Even I’m not feeling well today, I managed to blog these experience. I’m crossing my finger cross not to happen it again in the future. Take care your health everyone!
